Youthful excitement to be playing music with friends, not afraid to be self indulgent and having a great time and depending on people a little too much.
Good Intentions was a project made up of a revolving lineup of Melbourne musicians, artists, students, bludgers and workers. It was put together by Matt Kulesza in early 2006, and has been put on the back burner for other musical projects and ambitions. The band have no releases, but recorded an album as well as a couple of live EPs that never saw the light of day. The original lineup disbanded to focus on other projects, have children and go to school. The music you hear on this site is made up of friends’ drunken/wasted recordings in Matt’s warehouse bedroom.
Sometimes, the weirdest thing happends... I'm daydreaming and find myself singing along to a song in my head without realising it ("What happend to me, what happend to me? I used to be so full of energy..) and then I stop and I'm like... "hey, I remember that song! It's Matt K in my head. And I think I like it..."
