This Providence
Goodnight Process is a pop rock band formed in Portland, Maine in 2007. The band, currently, is made up of Dean Ford (vocals, guitar) and Nate Marchand (drums). In September 2009, both Dan Capaldi (guitar) and Marcel Hamel (bass) left the band, due to creative differences.
After gaining a reputation for their high energy live show, and well crafted pop songs, they began recording in July 2008 and released their debut EP, “The Way Things Are” in March 2009. Since the release, the band has been playing countless shows all around New England, and gaining a very impressive following. As of August 2009, Dean and the boys have been working on songs for their second release, which is currently untitled. So, make sure to stay in the loop so you can say you were one of the first to hear this young power pop group on the rise!
Despite the short amount of time the band has been together, they already have quite a nice track record, having shared the stage with such acts as Sondre Lerche, Saosin, Forever The Sickest Kids, Mayday Parade, This Providence, Anthony Green, The Dear Hunter, Person L, The Last Goodnight, etc.
