The Goodwill Orchestra is the ongoing project of recording and live sound engineer Sam Crawford (performer in Stereofan, The Decanters, Three on the Tree, Tremendous Fucking, and the Ballroom Roustabouts). A fan of elaborate orchestrations and textures, Crawford's first solo work contains a wide array of instruments and performers over a bed of short story song structures.
Primary tracks were recorded in Crawford's apartment and in the Looking Glass Studios in New York. The record slated for release in Spring of 2007.
