The Goodwill River is a band who just loves music. We could put some witty nonsense about springing fully formed from a UFO or something similar, but the truth is that we all enjoy playing music together and working on this band, and we're pretty jazzed to get to be doing this around Portland. We're playing shows and would love to meet new folks, so if you come out to one please come up and say hey. We've actually been pretty busy as you can tell and posted a lot of new songs. Superhero and Hopeful Melody were recorded at the Goodfoot Sonic Forum recently, and Rats In The Hold is a super rough take where we just set up some mics during practice. It should at least give you some ideas what we sound like and what we've been doing! Drop us a line if you dig it.
Hey-yo, playing a show with The Bad Assets and Les Etrangers, on Saturday, World Famous Kenton Club, a benefit for the food bank, we're on at 8:30, and we're just spreading the good word...
We're playing an EARLY show this FRIDAY @ The Know with Bumtech and No Go Know! We plan to start @ 8pm so be there on time! The Know is at: 2026 NE Alberta in Portland. Hope to see you there! ~~C
Thanks, Mike, or all of you :) I think once I get the My Space stuff figured out, it will be a blast! I'll get back to you on the 6/18 show at Camellia Lounge. Wanted to verify show time, which is supposed to be 9-11.
