yay, you guys are finally playing the grind on a friday... i don't think i have to ask if you are sticking around for off the cuff afterwards, right? RIGHT? oh and can i sell merch like i was going to back in april before chris merritt ruined my birthday show plans...
Thanks for finding and adding us. I am booking into September and would love to have you guys play at our Pub. Give me a call and we can work out the details!!!
Check out new sample of the song To Atone, let me know what you think. I think the lead needs to be quieter and thinner, maybe re-do with a single coil pick up.
at least 12. we're hoping to have it done by October/November, but if we can't meet that, it might carry into next year. it's about time we started recording again!
So I got access to some rough cuts of the album. It sounds freaking awesome, and I can't wait to open my own copy. I might even put it in a CD player or something.
Anyways, keep up the good fight for us little people.
Thanks dude. It was quite a process. I took a picture, then used the stamp filter to get it hard, black and white. then I found some different textures and blended them in with the black stamp. Then I found a cool sunset picture on the interweb and put it in the background, then I found a texture of the rings of a tree trunk and blended it in with the painting. Oh yeah, the origional pic is still back there, I just set the opacity real low. I might of done some other stuff too.
you guys were doing some interview and then you guys played a song. but you were Ryan-less. Oh and you said something about how in 5 years you'll be looking back on this interview having had just completed all the things you wanted to do in the previous 5 years.
It was kinda like a Saturday night live situation except it wasn't in front of a live crowd and it wasn't supposed to be funny and there weren't any witty sketches and it wasn't a nationally famous show. but you were on tv nonetheless so it was awesome!
HA! That was possibly the weirdest thing ever! I was flippin channels and I saw you guys! On Hive TV. That was pretty nifty... I mean, the last thing I was expecting was to see a band. Particularly a local band. Even more particularly a local band I knew of...
Right now I play drums in a band called "A Band Called Riley." We played our first show last friday. It was a phenomenal success. We play another show in 2 weeks (Fri, June 20th) at Ozz Billiards.
what up hussies? dudes. we're playing at Kilby Court on wednesday. this wednesday. 6/11. any help getting the word out would be rad. or even your own presence.
i just wanted to thank you guys for turning me into a total addict...a gorgeous hussies junkie that is! i always thought it would be really cool to be walking along the street one day and hear somebody drive by jammin out to my music...well, if you were to stalk me i would be that person for you!
Just wanted to say thanks again for the support. It means a lot. The myspace and the main site (www.AnAmericanWarning.com) are growing considerably because of people like you... so thank you very much.
I vote the new album title to be: "Shotgun for Life No Battle". That's a good one.
That is, of course, assuming you aren't taking suggestions. Because what it should REALLY be called... is "Flip Doogans". That'd be the bitchinest album title ever.

Memphis and it was a ridiculously good time :) We just got back and I'm not sure that I can list all the bands we saw between the festival and Beale Street. Awesome, just awesome! :)
Bummer! I took tons of pics, but not even one of them :( we were not able to get even close to them. We were, however, about 30 feet from the stage to see Aretha Franklin!
