The Grace is Danielle Le Cuirot, Joel Da Costa, Ollie Green, Chris Karamian and Adam Colwell. The band is UK-based but Danielle is originally from Jersey in the Channel Islands and Joel is from Portugal.
Danielle, Joel, Chris and Adam first played together in September 2007 when they were put into a band in a lesson at college and given 2 weeks to create two original songs. Danielle and Joel both brought forward the two songs, 'Sleepwalking' and 'How To Say', which went on to become songs of The Grace.
The music brought forward by Joel and Danielle worked together so well that they decided to spend their spare time during their second year at college recording an album of original music for Alberto Miguel, a producer based in London. Singer-songwriter Suzie Glass was the recording pianist for this album.
The band continued to work together taking ideas and creating the songs that can now be heard at their gigs, on here and on their website/facebook page.
In December 2008, The Grace welcomed Ollie Green, a production student at Leeds College of Music, who now plays keys for the band on a permanent basis.
The band is currently taking a break to work on individual projects but you never know what could happen in the future.
We hope you enjoy listening to our music and get a chance to watch some of the live video recordings. Please feel free to add us as a friend and let us know what you think.
