When former band Priory Falls said their last goodbyes, lead singer Ben Sherwen and drummer Phil Stevens set about forming a new band, ensuring no compromises were reached in achieving the perfect sound for the fresh new material.
First port of call was to bring bassist Paul Davenport into the band to stamp his talent on the rhythm section.
After a long search for a lead guitarist, Joel Lynch joined the band and quickly provided the authentic sound the band were looking for.
In early 2009 the final piece of the puzzle was found when Melissa Parker joined the band and her outstanding vocals were instantly to become the perfect compliment to lead man Ben Sherwen
Summer 2009 is set to see the hard work pay off as The Grande get set to stamp their unique sound on the music scene.
