The Critics LOVE "The Grand Horror"!
Dread Central: "For being such a low-budget indie horror film, The Grand Horror is a shining example of what can be accomplished with talent, hard work, and a genuine love of the genre"
Arrow in the Head: "It’s part Night of the Living Dead, part Demons and a little bit of The Shining."
The BloodLoss Horrocast: "7.5/10"
Killer Reviews: "Great concept! Great actors! Great fun! If I ever make a film myself, this is the sort of quality I can only dream it will be."
The Film Fiend:"For a flick with a budget the size of my daily crack habit, completely ad-libbed dialogue, and a cast of lily white unknowns, The Grand Horror is a smashing success. Kister and crew have crafted a truly engaging ghost story that actually manages to put the oh-so tired "zombie apocalypse" scenario to good use."
The Chopping Block: "I cared about the characters, I dug the story, the suspense was there, the blood was spit forth properlyhonestly, what more could you ask for?"
HorrorView: "The Grand Horror is a fun film to watch. It will be interesting to see future offerings from Dead Lantern Pictures."
The Zombie Review: "The Grand Horror delivered the goods"
CrappyFilm.com: "this was originality in a genre that is crammed with ideas already"
The Grand Horror is an independent horror film shot on location at the historic Grand Theatre in downtown Grand Island, Nebraska with University of Nebraska-Lincoln students as well as fellow Islanders. It will be premiering at the Grand sometime in the near future, in Grand Island of course!.
