Regardless of what the latest hype dictates, or which haircuts suburbian wannabe popstars are wearing, this is all about the raw power of fossil fuels, hot rodded 70s Supercars and steaming Tube Amps.
One hook line chasing the next presented by Lars Fischers powerfull voice, above a solid wall of virtuous guitars and bass lines cast in concrete. With the full load of testosterone, the steamhammer - like drums beat every clubs temperature gauge deep into the red area.
Every concert means a sportive challenge to the three guys from Nürnberg, to give all they got, reaching for the ultimate performance. A musical burn out for pit babes and adrenalin junkies, driven by an high precision engine with an efficiency at 100%
Very briefly, Grand Sports sound less European than rather American, they play rock with 70s intensity, tighten it up with 80s beats, crown it with wonderful sonorous singing on top, and pack it into a pleasant 3 minutes steaming giftbox .

After recording "Everywhere You Go" very shortly after getting the band together,
this is actually the album where we found together. 12 songs that are quite a result
of some kind of a ongoing song-battle between Lars and Hannes.
We chose Guido Lucas as a Co-Producer to get a really raw and intense rock-sound
contrasting our mostly short pop-songs. He did a really good job and we all had
much fun in (Noise)dorf:))
After being accused to have the last album done mainly by our guest-musicians (which is simply not true, they were all our slaves:)),
this time, NO ONE but us took part on this record. All the choirs, synths,
organs, mellotrons, sounds, percussions etc. were done by us three. Needless to say the songs, too.
By the way, it was much easier to work that way, cause we didnt had to "whip" somebody to get it the way we wanted;)
