"The Grave has tenderly muscled their way into my top local favorites with slow waltzing pedal steel guitar loveliness. I hesitate to use the words twang or country in any proximity to this band although the lazy might be tempted to do just that because the steel and banjo are prominent. But they’re just not used in ways Don Helms or Uncle Dave Macon would immediately recognize. Instead they provide contrast to absolutely gorgeous melody and vocals of divine origin... I can’t find anything wrong with this release (also on limited edition vinyl) except… except…No. I really can’t."
