From different corners of the country the members of The Gravity Guild converged in the music metropolis of Los Angeles determined to break the mold and redefine the sound of modern rock. Together they are accomplishing that goal.
Guitarist Jay Way pioneers an effects-heavy signature wall-of-sound that provides the foundation for their music. Also an accomplished recording engineer Way expertly shapes the sound of the project both on and off stage.
Vocalist Colin Simson melds raw vocal skill with evocative lyrics offering a fresh take on modern hard rock. His years of experience touring with various projects lend versatility to the project and unique accessibility to the genre.
Completing this exceptional line-up is heavy-hitting drummer Abel Vallejo. His unbridled and explosive style is matched by his relentless drive to progress and succeed. A dedicated student since the age of three, Vallejo is proficient, tireless and famous for his “no-bull” positive attitude.
Utilizing their strengths as individuals and growing stronger everyday, The Gravity Guild has become much more than the sum of its parts.
The power of gravity affects all of us. It’s no coincidence that The Gravity Guild has pulled you in too.
"The Gravity Guild has it all. The sound, the songs, the chops. They remind me of what you would get if you crossed Audioslave with Sevendust. Clearly lethal, but completely addictive."

"The Gravity Guild is an LA power trio with a dirty, slow burn sound that would appeal to fans of southern hard rock or classic grungemasters Soundgarden and Alice in Chains. Check em out!"

Dude! You guys are fuckin badass, seriously. You're like that band that has the sound I love to hear. Vocals are just awesome, guitars are great, and drums are fricken sweet. Thanks for the friend request guys, you're on your way to big things for sure.
I really expected to hear another band that completely sucks ass & I'm completely surprised. 9 out of 10 bands on myspace are crap. Your vocal melodies are badass, good riffs on guitar, tight drums. Would love to play shows with you anytime your around middle or west Tennessee.
