Sounds Like
Michael MacDonald, Bad Company at 45 rpms (try it!), Rainbow, Stevie Ray Vaughn (the God-Mayor of Taco Town, ex-blues guitarist), The Oakridge Boys, Bob Mould's WWF scripts, Joe Walsh's audition for The Eagles ( but we don't do those drugs), Bela Fleck's banjo techs' solo album, Mastodon unplugged (we wish), Remnant's of the Addiction and the Mutual Lad, anyone who knows Dave Fridman. Television.
We are trying to be a cover band but I keep on writing songs and then I have to practice them with The Great Buriers and by then we've spent so much time practicing a song that we might as well go the studio and record it and then it seems like we should play the songs at shows cause we're makin' records with all my spare cash but I don't know how to sell records much less make them and I really like trading demos with other bands so it's cool to have a cd of your band to trade and if it sounds good you're a little more proud to give it to someone. If only Michael MacDonald would come see us at our Abbey residency then maybe we could get him to sing backup on our record and then people would wanna buy it, because that guy comes up with some catchy hooks, but he sings them so smooth.
Last night we played "puttin it down"by Beck
"I'll keep it with mine" by bob dylan
"oh darlin'" by the Beatles
"Jesus Children of America" by Stevie Wonder
"Rock n' Roll Damnation" by AC/DC
"Tearing me Apart" by Agent Orange
"Game of Pricks" by Guided by Voices
"Fumblin' With the Blues" by Tom Waits
"Gates of Eden" by Dylan
"There Stands the Glass" country standard
"I am the Resurrection" by The Stone Roses.
And we were gonna play "I'm Not Down" by The Clash but the soundman really wanted us to stop so we did and later I apologized cause I didn't know we were overtime and now we're cool and we know eachother better because of it.

random: I met Ariel about a year ago at my college and I've been stalking your page since... now its about time to ask: can I get some advanced tracks?
Joshua I miss your performances. The mediocrity of this city is killing me. I would love to come rock out with you. Miss u. Your tunes sound great. Keep it up.
