"It's tough to mix chaos and precision, but this Ontario five-piece has found the balance, blistering through intricate riffs and breaks, while always keeping the guitars hammering away, teetering right around the ear-bleeding level. This is metal, but uniformly classifying it beyond that could pose a problem. With female vocals, elements of metalcore, prog rock, and even a little industrial, this isn't a record that's looking to fit tightly into any sort of niche. It's a wise approach, because it allows them to shift styles from song-to-song (and even within individual songs), appealing to folks who may simply appreciate ambitious song structures and high-energy consistency in the playing. The production here is equally strong, making the tracks huge in scope and certifiably forceful. If nothing else, "Morning Mass Suicide" is just a great song title, and the opening riff will make you fall off your chair."
