About me:

A freshly minted Industrial Hygienist at Argonne National Lab, my chief career goals are to make a difference and go to college for the rest of my life. I'm one of those poor saps who thinks his team has a shot at the postseason until they are mathematically eliminated, which, being a diehard Cubs and Bears fan, is both a sign of perseverance and incompetence.     Playing guitar, keeping up with and arguing about politics (Best. Soap Opera. Ever.), and writing. ....

    Mostly classic rock, hard rock, and power metal. Favorite band, far and away, is Metallica. Other favorites include, but are not limited to, Led Zeppelin, The Smashing Pumpkins, System of a Down, Cake, Alkaline Trio, Coheed and Cambria, AFI, Soundgarden, CKY, Sublime, and anything with a certain Mr. Ronnie James Dio. As a general rule, I dislike any band who lives by the mantra "sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll," as they are typically commercially viable losers milking off the accomplishments of real musicians.

    B! It's so good to hear from you--as always :)

    I am actually not coming home for Spring Break--I am visiting my friend, Holly, out in Boston right now. I will be passing through in May, but I am not sure how many days I will be home.
    I got an internship out at Brown this summer, so it looks like I will be heading to Rhode Island! Ahhh! How crazy!

    B! Texas is going goooood! It is such a good program (it is kicking my butt right now though!), and my job is amazing.
    I really really really miss the midwest though! Ha! Never thought I would say that!
