Hello friends. May finds us under a blanket of pink cherry blossoms that the spring showers have dragged to the ground, filling gutters and streets with their short lived beauty. There is a calmness around us now. We have begun working on our masterpiece, the third in a series of book/cds tittled "Hon's". It is a concept record, a love story set against the background of Chinese New Years celebrations. It was written some years ago and has been waiting for the right time to bubble forth. Now is the time. We released the first book (A Scant Sixty-three) in 2005 to some acclaim and followed it up in 2007 with Food, Booze and Entertainment. These are hard cover books complete with drawings and lyrics that come with the cds in a back pocket like an old school library card. We were busy in 2008 releasing our series of EPs based on the seasons which you are probably aware of. We also have a live record that we are putting the finishing touches on. It was recorded in Nanton, Alberta with the help of Steve Loree. Look for that this summer.
