In the summer of the year 2008 the rock unit now known as The Great Shark Hunt came into existence.
Originally, the moniker was used for solo written material by Dan to be used to form a new band. Eventually that band formed into what became Emmettbrown. In the midst of personal changes and eventual disbandment with Emmettbrown, a new collaboration was realized between Aaron, Chad, and Dan.
The first aural offering manifested itself into an EP titled: Equestrian American. A seven song glimpse of The Great Shark Hunt's initial sonic conception.
The trio continues writing, recording, and lathering up their rock licks/rudiments into a batch of figs writhing for mercy from their rock n’ roll wrath.
