Formed by Tim Rafferty in 2001 in Stirling the Great Western have spread out into the Highlands and the concept lives on. Based around a core of guitar, drums, bass and brass, TGW play epic songs of the open roads, mountains and sweeping plains of Scotland. This is road music !
We have been hard at work making our first proper album "Road Music" which will be released in June 2007. We'll then play as many gigs as possible and start work on the next batch of songs which I have been working on over the winter.
