Conjuring visions of fast cars, black leather, sweat and sin, The Green Lady Killers unleash charged garage rock that delivers a loud, fast, sexy ride. Evoking the maniacal elements of The Cramps, the inventiveness of The Pixies, and the attitude of The Runaways, The Green Lady Killers all female trio consisting of Lady Van Buren (vocals/guitar), Cherrybomb (drums) and Anne Malatesta (bass/vocals) are a rock n roll force to be reckoned!
The Green Lady Killers were featured on Van’s Warped Tour Shiragirl Stage, the first stage in Warped Tour history dedicated to women in rock, and their smash hit, “Psycho Ellen” was selected for the Shiragirl Stage Crew Compilation (2005 Play-a-Grrrl Productionz) distributed nationwide.
The Green Lady Killers self released debut EP was recorded in 2007 at StudioCat Productions with engineer/producer, Jamison Weddle (Dave Grohl, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soulfly), and earned The Green Lady Killers the sponsorship of Fender/Gretsch.
The Green Lady Killers have built a loyal fan base by creating a buzz throughout the southwest US, including performances in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Arizona and New Mexico. Their self-titled EP is available at all live performances and online at iTunes.com and CDBaby.com. In spring 2009, The Green Lady Killers are heading back to the studio to record their first full-length album. 2009 west coast tour dates to be announced.
