    You know it's all about fun. and sometimes i like to listen to some things that are totally different just for fun ;) I was even listening to some house music the other day and a weird track by Yolanda Be Cool 'We No Speak Americano.' It reminds me of My doberman from Argentina when she doesn't listen to what I'm saying and doesn't care :) im laughing about it right now - it's obviously not the same as Led Zepplin~ i listen to it for different reasons.

    THE GREEN LEAF The Green Leaf is an experimental rock & roll band from San Diego, California lead by Mark Whitney Mehran (MWM). The Green Leaf was formed in 1992 and released its first full length original album titled Green Leaf in 1995. MWM composes, arranges, and plays all of the instruments and vocals on The Green Leaf recordings after 1996. In the 1990’s The Green Leaf toured the independent music club scene for a number of years playing live shows as a traditional three piece rock outfit. The Green Leaf music is published by HOT ROD SURF Publishing (ASCAP). The Green Leaf music is featured on HOT ROD SURF All Steel All Real Vol.1 DVD movie(2003) HOT ROD SURF Pinstriping Techniques DVD movie (2007) Pinstrping Techniques Volume 2 DVD movie (2009) The Green Leaf discography includes the first full length album Green Leaf (1995), The Green Leaf Racer Single (1995), The Green Leaf 2nd Album (1996), California 7” vinyl (1997), Cat Scratcher 7” vinyl (1997), M.T.G. full length album (1997) released on limited edit red vinyl, Homegrown Live in San Diego (1997), Carnival of Corruption (1998), Hot Rod Paradise cassette single(1998), HOT ROD SURF plays Hot Rod Surf (2007), and HOT ROD SURF Pinstriping Techniques Volume 2 Soundtrack (2009). Born and raised in California Mark Whitney Mehran draws on his unique and adventurous lifestyle for inspiration for The Green Leaf music. From owning and operating a local surf shop in South Mission Beach (where he recorded the M.T.G. and Carnival of Corruption albums), to building and racing hot rods and motorcycles at the HOT ROD SURF garage, MWM’s creativity is expressed in the diversity of his expansive catalog of creative works which include authoring books, producing independent movies, designing turbo charging systems for his Harley race motorcycle, breeding pure breed Doberman Pinchers, and authoring automotive tech periodicals.
