How can music taste so delicious?!
Hailing from West Virginia, this prolific, original, and soulful group have been playing together for more than five years, and positive things are beginning to happen. Name and sound recognition have taken root in the small, yet enthusiastic college town of Morgantown following a steady climb into local notoriety and culminating in a recent triumph in WVAQ-FM’s “Last Band Standing” Battle of the Bands... At any and all types of venues, The Greens nurture a solid reputation of good music accompanied by an undeniable good time.
Comprised of Andrew Tuck, guitar, harmonica and lead vocals; Ben Sweeney, bass and vocals; and Nathan Yoke, drums, percussion and vocals, this experienced, tight and professional outfit plays more than 100 shows each year throughout Appalachia. This band writes original songs that audiences can feel and relate to, and the Greens constantly impart new quality material. The Greens guarantee consistent delivery of electrifying, satisfying performances. This trio turns on the energy, and crowds cannot help but dance and drink and make magic happen! A crop of devoted fans is sure to show and grow wherever the Greens take the stage.
We look forward to hearing from you soon! Thank you kindly...

Hey guys! I've started posting songs to The WV Scene Playlist, but need the help of all the WV Area bands to decide how the Playlists should be done. I'd really appreciate it if you took part in the poll I've posted on The WV Scene myspace page. After all this is a site meant to look after the best interests of the artists whether they be professional or just beginning. (Be sure to add our activity stream so that we can better communicate what it is we're trying to do).
Hey everyone! It's about time to post some of your tunes on The WV Scene Playlist... Until I come up with a better system I'll post the songs of the first ten bands who respond and I'm planning on including a wide variety of styles on the list. Thanks so much! (I won't be posting a song from my own band till later since this site isn't set up to promote my own self interests).
I heard the Marietta Brewing Co. might be closing. So I'm wondering if you guys were still planning on playing there on Oct. 30?? I really hope so cuz you guys rock and I love your energy!!
