Music
I'm a composer. I'm a performer. I'm an instructor. Drop me a line if you'd like more information.
A few favorites include: Clint Mansell, Explosions in the Sky, Muse, Machine Head, Agents of Oblivion, Isis, Juno Reactor, Loreena McKennitt, Modest Mouse, and the mighty Jimi Hendrix.
Movies
I'm a filmmaker. I'm a critic. I'm a cinephile. Drop me a line if you'd like more information.
For my 10 favorite films, check out this blog entry. Good times.
Television
I never watch TV. That doesn't mean that I don't have some favorite shows...I'm just the type of dude who buys the boxed sets rather than suffer through commercials and week-long cliffhangers. That said, here's what I dig:
Battlestar Galactica
Firefly
Arrested Development
Lost
The Venture Brothers
Books
I read everything from tax code to stall walls in squalid bar restrooms. I dig a lot of poetry, have a soft spot for fantasy epics, and generally enjoy any book from which I can take something away. Some favorites include William Blake, T.S. Eliot, Raymond E. Fiest, Cameron Crowe, Charlie Kaufman, Frank Herbert, and many a blogger here on myspace.
Heroes
I'm Bill Pardy.
My dad is everyone's hero - but you know that already, don't you?

No Michael! The party is not moving to FB Only a few have gone there and I really only use to stay in touch with my friend in France. Hence why it took so long to respond to your FB friend request and other FB apps Hang in there we'll still be here on my space but if you happen to run into me on FB feel free to say howdy! TTYL AMK (-=
Practical and upstart are the only guarantees I can get that if it gets made, it won't be dumbed down.
You're talking about this script like it's some Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius. All I tried to is invent a new subgenre. I've written your USUAL SUSPECTS, but when it's said and done, it's still just a horror movie. My scripts a fourth as long, and requires about a fifth of the mental ability to read, as WATCHMEN, and you managed to read that in the past couple of months.
There's no money or real prestige that goes along with winning at SHRIEKFEST. It just kinda gets put out there. In fact, in the five years it's been running, only one script has been optioned, and just then it's a shitty start-up DTV company. The deadline's April
I'd like to give it to you, but while my work (which I think is awesome by the way), sits in you inbox, I read status reports saying that you're reading comic books, listening to shitty nu-metal and trying to score some tickets to some burly hippie concert. Forgive me if I find that just the teensiest bit insulting.
Dude, I owe you an apology. I dropped off the radar for a while, started traveling for work and stopped keeping current with quite a few of my friends. I haven't even been up to Bellingham since last summer, very unusual for me.
How are things? I'm still with KPMG, still finding things to keep me interested.
Thank you. I will have to take things easy for now on. But I am amazed at my discipline so far. I "may need" more work, but not sure right now. The surgery was very successful. And it was nice to read your music tag!! Thank you.
Thanks for you empathy. I am about to post a blog about my intial thoughts on the Oscars The Wrestler wasn't the only major snub. The tech award are real BS this year too. Cheers :)
