The Griffins are a four piece indie rock band from the sleepy village of Grenoside, on the outskirts of Sheffield. We have been playing gigs together now for 4 years at some of Sheffield's great live venues such as The Boardwalk, The Grapes, UTB, Classic Rock bar etc. When we first started out, we initially played mostly grunge/garage rock music, pretty standard of most teenage bands at the time. However, with a few years of experience under our belts, and with the influence of an ever growing music scene in Sheffield, The Griffins music has matured in to mix of different indie sounds and genres. Hope you enjoy it.
Its been a good few months since we have shown our faces but we kinda fingured its much better to lay down some new material before we start to bore everyone with the same songs so heres a few new ones for ya to be getting on with. Many thanks to Kris who has layed down the ouba bass lines for us on the two new tracks Small town and Neurotic Sunday, they sound great, cheers dude. Were currently working on some more new material with our new bass player Ian and should hopefully be playing live next month. Hope you enjoy the new stuff and please check us out live very soon.

No, I'm not! I'm still in school, taking my GCSEs this year! Nerve-wracking stuff! The mocks are in December! And I hope to carry on into 6th form but we'll have to see how it goes!
I had double electronics today, hehe! Designing circuit boards!
