Take four middle aged men with deep musical backgrounds, roots and day jobs and let them carouse around the favorite songs of their youth. Rhythmic, loose and with heartfelt sincerity, their spin on favorites and obscurities from 60s and 70s will give their age cohorts a charge and give youngsters the urge to fire up the turntables found deep in their parents' attics.
The Craic Festival 2009 has invited FairplayCollective to play at this years Festival. All members will be playing in the round. The show is at The Mercury Lounge, March 14th at 8pm. This is the last night of the festival and Foy Vance is also on the bill.
