The Groovesmiths are OVER! WATCH OUT for BLOW! They are gonna funk you!. -

Gavin Shoesmith has officially retired from the biz to take up his hobby hunting! Watch out all you yummy little creatures lest you end up cooking in his pot.

Alex Dew has formed his new group "Blow" cause he was sick of the blues and realised he just wanted to dance shirtless on a dance floor surrounded by the sexy people! .

The Groovesmith's would like to thank all the drummers over the years who put up with all the mad tours and the fact that no two Groovesmith gigs were ever the same , nor were the compositions! Thanks to Fiona for every thing you did for us , small and large.Thanks to all you music lovers who came to the gigs , danced , bought cd's and then let your friends burn them or put it on the net. Thanks to any Disc Jocky who span the record ( no one at JJJ then!) and ABC TV who use our tunes on BTN! We love you all. Good luck! .
