The Groundsmen are a band of old friends, with singer/songwriter Luke Valiquette at the helm. A friend once said that we sound like what Bob Dylan would have sounded like if he had come out of Athens, Georgia in the early 80's and had collaborated with R.E.M. We also sound like a groove/improv project on most of our instrumental records.
All of our reords, plus Luke's two solo records are available on many digital download sites including I-Tunes, Real/Rhapsody, Napster, eMusic, Musicmatch, MusicNow, MusicNet(AOL), Virgin Digital, Audio Lunchbox, Beatport, Karma Download, MSN Music and many more.
Cd copies of our newest record "Repo", as well as last year's "Skyline" are also available by order for $5 per copy at alice.valiquette@comcast.net. Just put "Groundsmen cd" in the subject line along with your mailing address and order, or send your order and $5 cash or check to Luke Valiquette Re:Groundsmen cd 3411 richards st. nashville,tn 37215.
Thanks and keep in touch!
Hello! We are trying to get a better idea of which song(s) people like, and why. If you've got a few minutes to listen to the first 3 songs on our page, we would LOVE some feedback (good or bad, just be honest). Also, just in case you're looking for something to do this Friday (2/20) we have a show at Wall Street in Murfreesboro. Let me know if you think you can make it. Thanks for being a friend, and thanks in advance for your feedback!
Yo!..... It's been awhile! How are you?
just wanted to say, "What up?".
Your support for underrground, post-punk and alternative RocK is very appreciated. Drop by sometime and hit us up, There is a songwriter in all of us. - B.
