   About The Grymoire
The Grymoire is the whimsical brainchild of Adam Scott and Mark Shillaker who, since the autumn of 2004 have weathered numerous line-up changes, woodworm and doubt to bring their curious, plangent songs into the world. Each ditty is hand woven from the finest organic nonsense, smoked over a fire of damp, mossy twigs and left to curdle in the moonlight until ready to be hand delivered to your ears by trained courier gnomes. Our live shows include a cast of thousands! GASP at the sordid tale of the Reverend Aubrey Wetheringsett and his trouser-bending obsession! SWOON at the poignent whimsicality of Tiger's Song and Mildmay Road! GROAN at the dreary ramblings of Cold Comfort Colin! WONDER at the magical deeds of Algernon, Clive and the Brigadier! A capital time is assured as the two friends give of their all, often with the most heartfelt singing!

NEWS FLASH

On the 8th of October we will be joining our old compadres in DOG FRIENDLY at Colchester arts centre to celebrate the tragically short but legendary life of our good friend LEWIS BECKWITH.

Well, well, well, at last: kindred spirits! Hurrah! When are you going to release your gnomes, I mean, songs? We've got a couple of gnome songs in the shed; Gnome Sweet Gnome and I Wish I Was A Gnome.

Glad to see ISB as an influence and we also heard Peter Gabriel's Genesis in there (especially the harmonies) - brilliant!

We're shooting a video for littlethings up at the allotment in a couple of weeks - if only you were nearer to pop in and be gnomish!
