    My Lightsaber color is Blue
Blue is often associated with depth and stability.
    It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom,
    confidence, and truth.
This is not to be mistaken for an inability to kick ass and take names

  • Music

Jazz, Miles Davis & Coltrane, Ben Folds, Little Brother, The Roots, De la Soul, Common, Mos Def & Talib kweli, Chrisette Michele, Kanye West, Lauryn Hill, Nas , Eryka Badu

I like music that matures with me & reflects my life as it is now & not all that angry angsty crap I listened to in 1995. Granted I will always have a place for Tupac but I don't need all the misdirected rage.

What I am listening to on my Zune:
  • Movies

I like action movies. I love that there are so many comic book movies. I am living my life to see the new Superman Movie. I am also looking forward to Xmen and a couple of other flicks. It is going to be a great year for movies. I also love good mystery movies, not really thrillers but lone wolf detectives versus the system type movies. I love LA confidential, the Usual suspects, Malcom X. I also love small indie pictures that are character studies like Mumford, Garden State, Grosse Point Blank, and more than I can name. Nobody's Fool was the movie I consider the first in my cinematic awakening, where I realized movies weren't just about comedy or explosions. I still love a good chase. I like the Matrix, and Bad Boy movies, I need an outlet for my destructive tendancies. Four Brothers was the last good movie I remember seeing in the theaters. Batman Begins kicked ass.
  • Television

I am addicted to Scrubs, My Name is Earl, The Office, and The Shield. I also try to catch the Daily Show, and Colbert Report. I was watching Grey's Anatomy, but the characters are starting to get on my nerves as I hate Meridith Grey, and never feel they give enough time to Dr. Bailey. I am a longtime fan of The Sopranos, Rescue me, 24.
  • Books

Anything by Elmore Leonard, James Ellroy, Walter Mosely, Christopher Priest (the comics guy), Warren Ellis, Grant Morrison, Mark Waid. I mostly like Sci-Fi & Crime Fiction
  • Heroes

    Which Orisha Crowns You?

Oya - Oya is one of the most powerful African Goddesses (Orishas). A Warrior-Queen, much of Oya's power is rooted in the natural world; She is the Goddess of thunder, lightning, tornadoes, winds, rainstorms and hurricanes. A Fire Goddess, it is Oya who brings rapid change and aids us in both inner and outer transformation. Oya is the guardian of the realm between life and death; as such, She is not only the Goddess of spirit communication, funerals and cemeteries but also the Goddess of clairvoyance, psychic abilities, intuition and rebirth. She can call forth the spirit of death, or hold it back -- such is the extent of Her power. Because of Her affiliation to the dead, and Her intense knowledge of the magick arts, Oya is also known as "the Great Mother of the Elders of the Night (Witches)". Oya is both loved and feared, and for good reason: unleashed, Oya is the Savage Warrior, the Protective Mother, She whose power sweeps all injustice, deceit and dishonesty from Her path. She will destroy villages if the need is true enough, for while She understands everything, She will only accept, act upon, and speak the truth (even when it is hard to bear). Oya is the protectress of women and patron of feminine leadership. Fiercely loving, She is wildly unpredictable and can change from benevolent, caring Mother to destructive Warrior in the blink of an eye. Passionate, fearless, sensual and independent, Oya is not a Goddess to be invoked lightly and must be treated with respect and care. While She will toss you in Her storms of change, and shelter you in Her caring embrace, She will also strike you down with Her lightning should the need arise. However, do not let that dissuade you from working with Oya, for She is the Strong Woman, the Bringer of Change and Seeker of Truth, who can be a most powerful ally.

About me:

Welcome to The Hallspace @ Myspace

I am an aspiring author and all around media junkie. I have aspirations of being a novelist and an amateur photographer.
I am a quiet, but expressive guy. People fascinate me and I love to listen and observe, not in a creepy voyeuristic type way, but in a fascinated social scientist sort of way. My main goal in life is to spend as much time with good people and learn as much new information as possible.

I am currently attempting to build a Web empire. Myspace is but a small step in what I assume to be the right direction.

Who I'd like to meet:

I am not big on meeting celebrities because I think they are all a little crazy. But I wouldn't mind sitting down for a minute with Common, Talib & Mos Def. Maybe hang out with Dave Chappelle.
I would like to talk to Bill Cosby, Will Smith, Oprah, or President Clinton. Heck, Id chat with Bush if I got the chance. Just to see what goes on in their heads you know.
I wanted to hang out with Larenz Tate and Tiger Woods at one point in my life. I can't remember why. I would love to actually meet Michael Jackson, just because he can't really be as crazy as the world makes him out to be right. He made Thriller.
Writers I want to meet include Elmore Leonard, Walter Mosley, Chris Priest, and Chuck Palahniuk.
And yes I know how hypocritical all this is when considering my first statement. But for some reason I respect these entertainers a lot and if fate ever brought them my way I would buy them a drink.

In reality my friends are the funniest people I could ever know and I doubt any actual celebrity could top my true friends.
So if I had a choice between hanging out with Jamie Foxx for an hour or spending real time with my crew: Addison, Lou, Randy, Frank, Nicole, Mark, Mykish, Tim, Laura, Geoff, Erica, Bridget, Chris & Stacy all at one time I would choose the latter, because these people actually fulfill my life and make the world a better place to me.

Thanks all.
