The Hanshaws are honored to be Nominated in the 2008 Texas Music Awards as the "Vocal Duo/Group of the Year"
It's been a "few" years since David & Kelly Hanshaw hit the road and fronted bands in various dancehalls and nightclubs throughout the southwest. They are now an acoustic duo, performing as "The Hanshaws," and are currently playing in the Houston and surrounding areas.
The Hanshaws' studio CD project is finally here. We are very excited to have Larry Beaird on acoustic Guitar, Redd Volkaert on Telecaster, Cindy Cashdollar on Dobro, Vic Ramirez on fiddle, as well as some other excellent players. The recording of the new CD has been split between various studios including Direct Image and Beaird Music Group in Nashville, Bismeaux Recording Studio in Austin, and House of 10 Dogs in Houston.
