About me:

Hi, I'm Jamie, and I go to a lot of shows. I document my experiences at www.HardRockChick.com. I'm not a critic, I just know what I like and what I don't like. I missed out on a lot of live music growing up in Central Texas, so I've been taking in as much as I can since I move to San Francisco and started writing HardRockChick in 2007.

A really good show is like a drug to me. You'll usually see me up front, arms in the air, basking in the glow of my favorite rock stars.

I utilize twitter during shows to share the experience in real time. I tweet pictures, the setlist, and anything amusing that may be occurring. My write ups following a show are posted within 12 hours most of the time to capture the feeling. From time to time I'll follow a tour around for a stretch of dates.

I like heavy metal, industrial, psychedelic rock, black metal, death metal, wine and long walks on the beach. My favorite band is Nine Inch Nails and my favorite color is black. I collect gig posters, guitar picks, and broken hearts.
