"....A solid band, great singin', cool tune...its a good record! If they make a whole album man, I'm there!" - Henry Rollins
"...This is seriously heavy music...the full on real deal with a little edge of their own." - Organ Magazine U.K
Whether the calm, stoic dudes who comprise The Harold Wartooth are aware of it or not, they've accomplished more in a year than most Toronto rock (not indie rock!) bands accomplish in their entire careers. In less than twelve months they've recorded an impressive debut at the quickly-becoming-famous Sleepytown Sound, had a track spun on both Henry Rollins' radio show and Sook-Yin Lees Definitely Not The Opera, did an East Coast tour, had a song chosen for Catacomb Records debut compilation, and opened for rock legends Blue Cheer...
There is no pretention here, these kids want to play rock n roll, and they have the chops to make it more interesting than your average blues rock... this band makes me excited about rock n roll again.

We've just recorded a new demo, waiting for Kentos to mix the songs. Hope we will get a label when it's ready. hehe. Maybe you could go on an european tour and take us with you as a support act! //Fredolfo
That was a scorching set at The Silver Dollar, rock and roll riff-makers, explosive sound, that was tailor-made for crankin' it out loud. The Wartooth are about to take the show on the road, a travelling powerhouse of ear-splitting goodness.
I saw you guys play last year with Against Nature at that old dump the metal bar. No one was there haha but twas a goodnight I remember being quite trashed when I left.
hi dudes! we're glad that you like our sound, your stuff sounds really good! at the moment we're actually recording four new smash hits with dear mr. kentos. a split would be great, what record label are you on?
