Sounds Like
A Waltzy, Hectic, heavy handed, hard-nosed hallucinogenic halo-covered hairy humans playing a brand of space-prog-experimental-rock.
The Harrison Sect is an instrumental three piece putting out their own blend of space-prog-experimental-rock. With influences from bands such as The Pink Floyd, The Mars Volta, Mastodon, Tool, Primus and Neurosis. These guys make for a raw, hard hitting rock band that does an impressive job of blending spacey delayed psychedelia into a power chord driven near metal rock out. Toss in some off beat timing and you get a sound that really defies the typical "they sound kinda like." The Harrison sect Is John Davis (Guitar), MiKe Sheppard (Bass), and JJ Esposito (drums).

Six Black Lab puppies were just brought into animal control. Will be euthenized Thursday! If you can't adopt, please consider sponsoring. Your donation of around $50 will buy one of these pups some time by taking it off Death Row and making it more "adoptable." Also, if you have some space, consider Foster Care. Its like Pet Sitting! you can watch the puppy in between Adopt-a-Thons. It does not cost anything to be a Foster Parent. And of course, adoption is the ultimate way you can help. These babies deserve forever homes, not poisoned needles! Act quickly, pass the word. Death Day is Thursday June 11 at 8am.
Thanks for adding us!! This month's featured show is this Saturday, June 13th! Savannah prog act Sinister Moustache performs their cinematic nightmare of shapeshifting songs. www.myspace.com/sinistermoustache. Then NC band Actual Proof is a jazz-funk fusion act that rocks a mean xylophone. www.myspace.com/actualproof3. Headlining is sci-fi middle eastern funk act Consider the Source, on tour from NYC. www.myspace.com/considerthemusic. This show is only $6!!!! See you at the Wormhole this Saturday!
Looking for bands that will donate their time to play at our pet rescue charity fundraiser on Saturday July 25th. Not looking for any particular genre except we're not doing metal/hardcore this time. Let me know if you're interested, its an all-day event.
Should a baby be on Death Row? All it takes to save one of them is a $50 donation. If you can sponsor with $50, or better yet ADOPT one of these kitties please contact saveakittyaday@gmail.com immediately. They will be put to death this Tuesday, June 2nd. Please forward this and repost. Thanks!
This is Eggie. Please save her by sponsoring with a $50 donation or by adopting.
This is Lucky. Being older, he is overlooked by adopters. He would make a great outside cat and a rat-catcher to keep your shed free from pests. He will be very easy to take care of. Please save from death, June 2nd.
Patty is another baby on Death Row. Please save by being a sponsor and donating $50 for her spay certificate. or adopt.
Contact 912-610-0874 or scanimalrescue@gmail.com to adopt or sponsor. Please view more of the babies and info on the charity (AND REQUEST A FRIEND ADD) at http://www.myspace.com/474125940
