I seriously can’t recommend The Hats enough if you want to let your hair down and have a dance. Go on; grab a group of friends and get down to their next gig. -

Bristol-based septet The Hats produced some irresistible funk blues vibes at last year’s Larmer Tree and after a mountain of audience requests for the band’s return, what else could we do but invite them back! -

'A band of genuine flair' - Julian Owen, Venue Magazine
The Hats have been playing together since 2005, and in that time have grown into an upbeat funk/blues band with such a modern twist that you won't be able to keep still! They have played a string of U.K. Festivals throughout '08 including the ever exciting Lamer Tree Festival and the huge Bristol's Habourside Festival, then followed with 7 dates in the north of France. All this is backing their latest E.P., Big in Malta. Recorded at Bink Bonk Studios, it captures their live and fresh take on raw blues and solid grooves.
The pipeline for '09 includes new songs, more dates, more festivals, a 2 month tour of France, a video shoot and the hat's first album. Watch this space, and in the mean-time be sure to catch them live.
Hey! Appologies if this is the second comment we've sent you recently...bit of a mix up in the bands communication :)
