The Heymakers play authentic rockabilly/honky tonk music. The roots of rockabilly are blues, country, gospel, and jazz, and it is experience in these types of music that sets The Heymakers apart from other bands.
The Heymakers are:
Pat Roberts-Lead guitar and vocals
Pat's strong, impassioned vocals are among the best around. His echo-drenched, vintage style guitar playing mixed with his vocals make for a stunning performance. His influences include Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Hank Williams, and Faron Young.
He has been seen in many local bands over the years incuding: The Torpedos, Small Paul and Drivin Wheel, The Stilettos, The Rustlers, The Longhorns, and The Benders.
Jim Dorholt-Drums
Jim is well known around the valley as being one of the finest drummers around. He has played with The Hoodoo Kings, The Ramblers, and The All Star Blues Band. He has backed many of the top blues artists.
Mickey McAdams-Bass
Mickey's hard driving bass lines propel the band into the next dimension. He is known around town as the former bassist of Kenny Love and the Rockerfellas.
