DekMasha-SlicerMan aka Beat King Sleician & Nobsta Nutts aka The Insalubrious (THE HEADCASE LADZ) have been going strong within UK Hip Hop since the late eighties and into hip hop since it first hit UK shores in the early 80's. Having won industry competitions with the most prodominent UK Hip hop labels in the late eighties,the Ladz later decided to go independent and release material themselves on their own imprint WONKY WAX and have since released over 20 releases on vinyl/C.D. to date all getting high and respected reveiws in magazines across the board.The Ladz have recently been signed to top UK Hip Hop label Zebra traffic who are based in Brighton and are host to some of the top UK hip hop acts like Phi Life Cypher,Cappo,Diversion Tactics,Dirty Diggers amongst some of the acts on the label.
The New album released on Zebra Mid 2005 titled "GET A LIFE" has won industry attention and won the likes of Massive attack (to name one amongst a few) favourite album of 2005.
The Ladz are currently working on their new album alongside doing constant side projects with their WONKY WAX Collective,one of whom is constantly doing stuff with the Ladz is "LEWS TEWNS",The one man musical army.Keep your eyes peeled for the new Headcase website coming in feb 2006 and new releases and special features from some VERY SPECIAL people within HIP HOP on their imprint Wonky Wax and Zebra Traffic.
