West Yorkshire-based band The Heavens began life as the brainchild of Richard Green, songwriter, vocalist and guitarist with both Ultrasound and The Somatics. Originally formed in 2006, the core three-piece line up sees Richard working alongside Davey Fairbrother on drums and vocals, and James Heggie on bass guitar.
Over the past few months The Heavens have taken their energetic live show up and down the country, appearing at Liverpool’s IPO Festival at the Cavern, The Edinburgh Festival and various London dates along the way.
Best described as a blend of British & American Psychedelia, Rock & Roll and 90's Brit-Rock, the band are in a constant state of writing new material, having recently finished recording over an albums worth of songs in Attic Studios, Leeds.
Schotel van de dag / Lost Bear : 10inch Split Schotel van de dag (dish of the day) is a brand new punk/hardcore/indie-band from Utrecht. They came to this world to serve humanity with uncompromised guitar violence! For this split they've teamed up with the 90's inspired hairy indierockers of Lost Bear. -- GET IT FOR FREE --
