Formed in 2004 The Bluejays are a 2 time WAMI (West Australian Music Industry) award winning three piece originally from Perth Western Australia who are now residing in Melbourne Victoria. Consisting of Ross Goodale on drums, Jesse Fultone on bass and vocals and the inimitable Felix Poiter on guitar and vocals The Bluejays are best described as SOUL ROCK but tinged with everything from psyche to (heavy) funk and whatever falls between, our music is steeped in the rich sounds of the analogue driven musical renaissance of the 60's and early 70's. We have played with acts ranging from the Black Keys to Jamiroquai, also including, but not limited to, other such world renowned musicians as Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, the Bellrays and Peanut Butter Wolf. Thus far we have cut two 7 inch records and 'The Heavy Heavy ep' for Cardboard City Records to positive critical acclaim. Album out soon
