About me:
The Hello Show, is an hour-long interactive comedy created for small-town audiences, in which we three actors play over 18 characters who perform in a traveling talent show. Ranging from the ridiculous to the poignant, these characters are all eager to say "hello!" and share their special skills with the evening's crowd. Each performance is made unique by the venue and the specific audience members in attendance.
The Hello Show was created in the summer of 2007 in Placerville, CA and won much acclaim from audiences and critics alike for its fresh use of the Vaudeville-style format and the virtuosic skills of its actors. The show utilizes live music, film projection, original dance routines, clowning and masks and is filled with charm, absurdity, small town pride and exposed humanity.
The three actors, Evan Johnson, Jamie Van Camp and Sarah Peters all met as students at the prestigious Dell'Arte School of Physical Theatre (www.dellarte.com) in Blue Lake, CA.
