The Herb Trotman Band is located in Homewood, Al.
Band members are "Mr. Banjo" Herb Trotman, Kathy Hinkle, Andy Meginniss,
Gathel Runnels and Jimmy Warren.
Herb, owner of Fretted Instruments located on Linden Ave. in Homewood, Al., is an accomplished musician picking the banjo and guitar strings. He plays a "Mean Clawhammer" too!
Kathy anchors the group with her solid bass playing and harmony vocals.
Andy, a veteran of the local music scene, sings lead and harmony for the group. He plays guitar and bouzouki.
Gathel plays the fiddle. Along with his lively "fiddlin'" he also sings lead and strong harmony.
Jimmy, with influences of bluegrass & blues, plays mandolin and guitar and shares in the lead and harmony vocals.
The Herb Trotman Band plays music that's fun and "when it stops being fun we'll quit!"
