Though primarily a blues band, The Hideaways are not interested in just rehashing the sound of the Muddy Waters Band. Nor are they interested in playing StevieRayJimiClaptonAllman blues. They instead acknowledge the Blues artists they love, while also allowing elements of old country, rockabilly, instrumental surf, and jazz to infiltrate their sound. In other words, they play what they like. It's probably fair to say that The Hideaways are not necessarily for the fanatical purist...........
