THE HIGGINS – sind seit elf Jahren unterwegs in Sachen guter Musik. Fünf Stammkräfte und zwei Ersatzspieler sorgen dafür, dass der Aalener Punkrocksumpf nicht trockengelegt werden kann. Dabei geht es musikalisch kompromisslos und aggressiv, immer aber mit eingängigen Melodien zum Mitgrölen zur Sache. Mal sind die Songs schneller, dann wieder langsam. Immer aber kurz und auf den Punkt gebracht, ohne unnötigen Schnickschnack – Punkrock, Streetpunk oder Hardcore? – scheißegal wie ihr es nennen wollt!
Die Songs und die Texte müssen zuerst der Band selbst gefallen, unabhängig von aktuellen Trends und Szenemoden, dabei haben die HIGGINS auch nicht verlernt über sich selbst zu lachen und die Sache nicht ganz so bierernst zu nehmen.
Im Mai 2007erschien mit „Fire in the City“ die dritte HIGGINS-Veröffentlichung auf „Siempre Contra Records“.
THE HIGGINS – For the last eleven years The Higgins have been making punk-music, the five regular and two reserve players assure that the Aalen punk scene continues to thrive. Their music being a no compromise, aggressive mix of catchy melodies to rock along to, varying from fast to slow but always straight to the point with no unnecessary thrills! Punk rock, streetpunk or hardcore, we don’t give a toss what you call it.
The band have to enjoy the text and song and pay no attention to the latest trends or fashions, they also haven’t lost the ability to laugh at themselves and never taking things too seriously!
In May 2007 the 3rd Higgins offering “Fire in the city” was released by “Siempre Contra Records”.

Les 5 titulaires et 2 remplaçants veillent à ce que la scène Punk d’Aalen (Petite ville en Allemagne du Sud) résonne toujours plus fort.
La musique est agressive et sans compromis, avec des mélodies accrocheuses, tantôt speed ou lente, ya du rock et du rythme sans détour !
Punk, Streetpunk ou Hardcore, ils s’en foutent, c’est comme vous voulez !
La seule règle du jeu : le groupe doit aimer les paroles et les chansons et n’est pas intéressé par les nouvelles tendances de la scène.
Il n’a pas perdu la capacité de rire de lui-même et de ne jamais prendre les choses aux sérieux !
