________________SHOW BUSINESS IS OUR LIFE.... WE JUST CAN'T PROVE IT___________
The BANJO GUY______________________________________________________________
Jay Castleberry plays guitar, banjo, harp and adds some vocal stylings to the HILLBILLY POTENTATES. He grew up in a musical family, his father played triangle, his mother played didgeridoo, his brother played Thumb Piano (due the fact he was born without fingers... born with just thumbs) and his sister just "played around"
____________________________________________________________________________
In high school, many of his friends started playing electric guitar. As a result, they became very popular with the girls. Jay wisely decided to play 5 string banjo instead. It was only years later that he realized that, not only are there no groupies for banjo, but there is absolutely no money in playing banjo either.
____________________________________________________________________________
Among his many hobbies are needlepoint, ant farms, and tracing pictures from magazines. His favorite color is chrome. He loves a rollicking game of Ha Ha Herman. More times than not, he is totally nekkid under his clothes.

The DOBRO PROFESSOR______________________________________________________
Tim McCasland, who plays dobro, guitar, and banjo, is retired from 29 years as a professor of music at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas. He has taught guitar, steel guitar, dobro, banjo and various stranger instruments since 1970.
____________________________________________________________________________
Needless to say, he has never done an honest day's work in his life. He lives in the forest with his two small dogs, and eats canned spinach and hard-boiled eggs. In public
he disguises himself as a short grey-haired myopic, in order to scare off the ladies....in
reality, he is much taller, younger and richer than he appears to be. He looks like a cross between Denzel Washington and Mickey Rooney.
____________________________________________________________________________
Tim plays the dobro, or resophonic guitar, with the zeal of a Mormon missionary with an Amway franchise. His approach to the guitar is similar to Emeril's approach to kick-boxing, if that makes any sense.
____________________________________________________________________________
He begs his potential audience to come see his attempts at combining music with the physics of string theory. He wants to prove the existence of eleven discrete dimensions through folk music.

Doing well here. I'm getting lots of trio work and a couple of solo jazz guitar gigs at the new Dallas Center For the Performing Arts. As for Willie, I haven't heard anything out of him. If he wants to send me a friend's request, I'd gladly accept.
Aye! What a FINE BUNCH OF SCALLYWAGS YOU ARE!!! WE DIG YOUR VERY FINE MUSICAL SHOW LADS!!! THANKS FOR FINDING US BEFORE WE FOUND YOU.. HOW DID YOU DO THAT WE WONDER??
No, it's just starting to kick my ass. But I can give you some good law advice. As your potential lawyer I recommend Jay not drive the acid bus. Also, in this day and age I recommend you don't bring acid on the acid bus. As for a traveling retainer, if Bobby Brown can tour without one, I think you can too.
Thanks a lot my friends! Daniel Brauchli is an excellent builder. I have all the builder links in my website: www.christiaanoyens.com.br Great hooking up with you guys, wish you all the very best! Regards from Rio, Brazil!

Thanks for the request! Yes, staying dry, staying home mostly! Played at the Atticus again last night. Did Over the Rainbow, I'm So Lonesome and Danny Boy on dulcimer. The spotlight was so bright I couldn't see my strings with all the shadows, but I got through it okay. Hope you have success entertaining those bikers this weekend! So far they have been laying kind of low with all the rain......not too many have ventured out as far as Capitan yet.
