The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players with An Axe, Bar Oppo, 22nd September 2008

Decorum presents a last minute tour addition, an intimate performance from The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow players - Monday 22nd of September at Oppo (72 Park Street, Bristol).

The Trachtenburgs are a domestic trio who play quirky indie vaudeville pop songs in the key of unironic good, clean fun with one major catch: all the songs carefully rhyming lyrics come from the vintage slide collections they've found at estate or garage sales that accompany their performances.

Hi The Hinkley Veltones,

Thought we’d let you know that we played your track "Baby Don't Leave Me" & plugged your upcoming Louisiana gig on BBC Radio Bristol Introducing this Saturday morning just gone.

It was the first track we played under our new name - we wanted to start with something really good.

You can still hear it anytime this week using the on line "Listen Again" feature on the BBC i-Player, there’s a link to it from our profile.

Hi guys,

The album launch at The Cube at the weekend was just amazing. Howlin' Lord, great! Bucky, on fire! And you, simply stunning!

You should be proud of the night and the album.

Expect continued support from us on the show, there's 'no need to worry' about that (did you see what I did there?).
