Influences
Troy's a jazzcat, he'll be spinnin' Mingus records and stuff.
Trym has a deep love for the blues, and will be scouring the internet for pre-war recordings of William Harris, Skip James and Blind Lemon this-and-that..
Martin is the bands hipster-alibi, and likes all that new shit.

The Faces, The Pistols, The Fall, The Replacements
Three drummers and three bassplayers in three years is too much!
So this fall, when psych-punk-blues-rockin' powerhouse The Last Time's bassplayer Jack migrated to North Carolina, and founding guitarist Ryan Moore decided to move to Atlanta to "straighten out his life and stop doing all the bad things he does in Pittsburgh", it was time for drummer extraordinaire Troy Cramer and guitarist Trym"Harpo"Killi to take a minute and figure out whether to keep sloggin on, or to just, well, pack it in. It only took a second for Trym and Troy to quit their other projects, commit fulltime to their band and recruit the magnificent Martin Kantorzyk III on bass guitar.
Renaming themselves The Hi-Speeds, the boys are back as a threepiece, and they're stronger, leaner and hungrier than ever. Having had the opportunity to check these guys out before their "official" debut, I can safely say they'r the loudest, rowdiest three-piece I've ever heard. Also, the new lineup seems to allow the songs to come across a little more focused than before, which they should, cuz they're fuckin' great!
Check 'em out for yo'self, they'll make the tip of your boots curl!!
