the Hollow

Energiegeladener, melancholischer Alternative Rock mit progressiven Elementen, dafür stehen the Hollow aus Nürnberg. In ihrer jetzigen Besetzung existiert die Band seit Anfang 2006. Seither wurde ein Set erarbeitet, welches sich besonders durch seinen breiten, abwechslungsreichen Sound und sein ausgeklügeltes Arrangement auszeichnet und dabei oft gängige Songstrukturen durchbricht. Mit donnernden Doublebass-Attacken, dichten und markanten Gitarrenriffs bis hin zu schwebenden Klangteppichen, mittels treibender Bassparts und zerbrechlich-melodiösem, aber auch aggressivem Gesang wird eine interessante und vielfältige Klanglandschaft erzeugt. Der Nürnberger Vierer hat 2007 seine erste EP „critical endeavor“ aufgenommen. Das Ergebnis bietet auf knapp 30 Minuten fünf Tracks, die die gesamte musikalische Bandbreite der Band abdecken.
