Although "this ain't no joke," it's funny. We never imagined we'd actually be in a cover band. We tend to hate cover bands in fact. But, Holy Diver has taken on a life of it's own, and at this point we are only vessels for the muse that consumes us. Rather, we are cursed, as Bilbo was with the 3rd ring of power. Our mini-instruments control and influence our mind (and body, recalling the pelvic contortions of Machismo Foghat - the Crotch Machine). To spare the woe of our darkest secret, the origin of our mini-instruments, we tell the public that it's because we have bad backs and we can't play regular size gear... but the truth, the legend rather, is no myth...no fantasy...no faggot tale, er, fairy tale, I mean... anyway...the instruments we possess...are possessed, and possess us.

In the age before time, the magical tiny guitars and drums were forged in the depths of Satan's nephew's toybox (which reeks of heartache and sorrow). Ages later, in the time of kings and dragons, the instruments were stolen, and a great battle erupted on Earth between good and evil, Heaven and Hell, and it rages on to this day still. Thus, the heart of every war... the Gulf War, WW I & II, the Civil War, Spanish-American War, the Napoleanic Wars, the conquests of Alexander the Great, and every other clash as far as humankind's history can recall... is actually manifest from the eternal quest of Satan to reclaim Bartlebee's (Satan's nephew) toys.
