Geek:
“one who is primarily motivated by passion”. Thus, I am a geek of Religion, Philosophy, History, Mathematics, Music, Technology, Tea (recovering Mountain Dew addict), Social Science, Literature, Duct Tape, and the research that these things entail. I may not be a master of these things, but I definitely possess an amateur’s love for them. I am J.D.
I heard thru the grapevine that you're going to HARDING! CONGRAT'S!!!!!! What dorm are they putting you in? It's a really pretty campus. Some of my best memories were there.
Alright, understood. Really, I just wanted to give you a hard time. :-D Which doesn't work too well when one is the discontent party, rather than the one you attempt to razz. ^___^;;
Partlow, Partlow, Partlow. What are we doing with our lives? I at my desk job. You at your desk. What happened to our grandiose plans of world domination? What happened to Ferris Bueller?
Ah well. August shall come. And I shall be free again. ^__^
It had a good beginning and ending, but there was some fat around the middle that could've been cut. I started getting bored round-thereabouts. At one point it felt like they were putting stuff in just for the sake of adding a song. Example: there's this lesbian named Prudence who adds nothing to the story aside from the opportunity for a couple extra songs. Her whole existence seems to be pointless aside from this. This movie, like the 60s, began with a lot of ambition but proved too self-indulgent to realize most of them. That said, I did come away from it with the impression that I did enjoy it. Good endings and beginnings can sometimes redeem vacuous middles.
weird, lol. boo's a stray. they found him at my dad's workplace and i guess, my dad volunteered to bring him home. my mom's still not very happy about it.
I'm bored and am facing writer's block. how are you?
