About me:
The HOME Foundation exists to fight the horrors of human trafficking and the sex trade, raise awareness, and to assist in the rescue and restoration of human beings in crisis, both in the United States and around the world. After an episode of Law and Order awakened Natalie Grant to the real-life, ongoing tragedy of Human Trafficking, she threw herself into a deeper research on the issue. What she found disturbed her so greatly, that Natalie knew she would use her music and platform to fight for these helpless victims – precious souls without a voice. Over this past year, Natalie has had the opportunity to be involved in various missions and charity organizations that deal with the sexual exploitation of children. Recently, inspired by her trip to India with Shared Hope International, Natalie has founded the HOME Foundation. Natalie Grant founded the HOME Foundation with one goal in mind: To help those who may not otherwise be helped. She has been to the red-light district of Mumbai/Bombay and has seen first hand the horrific reality of the issue. But she also saw the tremendous efforts being made to rescue these victims, some as young as 6 years of age. In partnership with Bombay Teen Challenge, the HOME Foundation plans to raise enough money to build a medical facility for the Village at Ashagram, a place devoted to the healing and rehabilitation of girls and boys illegally forced into the sex trade. The HOME Foundation most recently helped Bombay Teen Challenge complete the building of "Jubilee" - a new orphanage in Mumbai that houses 200 orphaned children whose mothers, many of which were victims of human trafficking, died of AIDS. Currently, The Home Foundation is raising funds with a two-fold purpose: to build a much needed medical infirmary for Bombay Teen Challenge at their Village of Hope outside of Mumbai, India and also to support the work of The International Justice Mission as they continue to seek justice. (to learn more, visit ijm.org) Natalie will also use her platform to raise awareness about this growing “American” trade. Through radio, television, and her concert appearances, she will make materials available to spread the word about the slavery that is taking place in towns all across the United States. Over 10 million people are victims of human trafficking. No country is immune from human trafficking. Each year, an estimated 600,000-800,000 women and children are trafficked across international borders. Sex traffickers use a variety of methods to “condition” their victims including starvation, confinement, beatings, physical abuse, rape, gang rape, threats of violence to the victims and the victims’ families, forced drug use and the threat of shaming their victims by revealing their activities to their family and their families’ friends. Slavery still exists. But you can make a difference. What are you waiting for? to donate: The Home Foundation 1400 18th Ave S, ..C3 Nashville, TN 37212 100% tax deductible

i saw a GRT news piece....to my suprise on MSNBC not to long ago...i even took notes...there is a man in our country that i believe God has MIRACULOUSLY raised up to take on those that traffick little girls in Asian countries....i just cried....the video was so, surreal....ALL i can say is THANK YOU! for sharing what you know. I read about it in the Baptist Magazine, perhaps, earlier this Spring, 2006. i read of little girls YOU SAW in cages so that their spirit's would be broken...even deprived of food......OHHH....how my heart longs for "Jesus to Return"...may we all PRAY for the plight of Children/females all over the World. The Supreme Court of the United States has set a Nov. 8 hearing date for two cases, Gonzales v. Carhart and Gonzales v. Planned Parenthood — to decide once and for all if the 2003 federal law banning partial-birth abortion is constitutional. Now is the time for all of God’s people to make their voices heard! Please read this petition to the U.S. Supreme Court and complete the form below to electronically add your name. Your signature will be added to thousands of others and delivered to the court for maximum impact
