rae and jenny met through a mutual friend and immediately formed the honeybees in 2007. jenny, formerly of Extant and Face April, has played in the des moines area for years with many musicians. rae, when not performing with the honeybees, can be seen at numerous venues around town with her hard rock band, sinhinge.
the honeybees are in popular demand at stoops, irish bars and coffee shops across the midwest with the occasional festival and block party.

You have new fans and friends, and eventhough Mtown can be lame we'd love to have you back anytime to unlameify it.
