About The Hoosegow

The Hoosegow was created in 2002 when Ty Stranglehold found himself looking for a new project after the dissolution of The Staggers. He picked up Jay Trash on drums and Bri on bass. They jammed a couple of times before getting Big Rick to come in on guitar. Shows were played, beers were consumed... Bri was on to bigger things. The next logical step was to get Glen Bitters to step in to the bass role that he was always meant to fill. The band recorded their debut disc at the legendary Rat's Nest with Gary Brainless at the board. Sweet. +++ December 2008: After taking most of the year off, The Hoosegow is back and is now a permanent five piece with the addition of Mike on drums. Big Rick has moved back to guitar and we're preparing to get to work on the next record. The tour movie "Eat Drink Tour" came out in the spring and some editing is underway for the dvd release.
