About me:
This is not a NEW revolution. It started with Jesus flobbing in a blind man’s eye, with women being treated with equal value and respect, with corruption challenged, with picking the pushed out and showing up of the sure of themselves, with turning the other cheek and going the extra mile, with loving the enemy and dying to self.

A revolution that started with “IT IS FINISHED”. A revolution of LOVE, JUSTICE, GOOD NEWS AND HOPE. Courageously continued for thousands of year in the hands of teenagers. Young people refusing to slip silently through society deciding to stand out and speak up you say you hate me I’ll turn around and batter you with words and deeds of love. I will lift up the laughed at and looked down on I will not be controlled or moulded by laws set by the media and policed by my peers. You want to label me with your brand names and tabloid headlines but we already have a label:

Hope Revolution	Apr 30 2008 4:01 PM HOPE SCHOOLS CHALLENGE Ever been told you can't make a difference? Ever thought it's too hard to change the world? Ever wonder why young people always get bad press? Want to do something about it? Want to get involved in an amazing project with your mates at school? If you reckon you and your mates are up for delivering a project to and within the community where you all live, then this is how to get involved in the Hope Schools Challenge. All you have to do is make a short 3-5minute video of your community project and then upload it to the Hope site. Closing date for entry is October 2008. Judges will visit the 5 top schools to assess who has got the best community project going on. All the detailed information to help you choose the right kind of project and how to upload your video is on the site below, so get thinking and chatting with your mates about what innovative and cool ideas you can kickstart, to create the best community project in Britain. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot, there'll be a prestigous Awards Evening [lots of glitz and glamour as part of the Champions Of Respect iniative] where awards will be given out along with a fantastic prize for the winning school. Hope Revolution	Apr 11 2008 8:18 AM "Million Hours Of Kindness" This first May Bank Holiday is going to see the next big initiative for Hope Revolution and Hope08 - the Million Hours Of Kindness. This is going to be such a significant weekend throughout our villages, towns and cities, with social action projects lined up on a huge scale. Check out a couple of excellent events which have caught Hope Revolution's eye, which are lined up for the Bank Holiday weekend: IgniteHope is a four day outreach event in May (Friday 2nd - Monday 5th). This will be happening in Cardiff and surrounding areas. Over the four days the community outreach will involve things like gardening, painting, running holiday/dance clubs, litter picking etc. Through doing this we want to bring the love of Jesus to communities and individuals in and around South Wales. We want to see Gods love fall down on our nation in a new way! Teams will meet in Sophia Gardens Cardiff in the mornings for worship and teaching, then head out to do the social action projects and be good news, then come back to the venue with the people they meet in the evenings for more worship, evangelism and great gigs from bands like 29th chapter, Y Friday and Superhero! If you want to come and be part of this but live far away, we will set you up with church hall accommodation for the weekend! Be part of it.. Hope Revolution	Mar 5 2008 12:54 PM Hope08 - Shrewsbury This weekend gone saw the first Hope08 church-wide gathering take place in Shrewsbury. This was a collection of church leaders and congregations from across the denominations, assembled to be challenged by God through a Hope08 presentation and guest speaker, Gavin Calver’s message of ‘Love Your Neighbour’. The evening was an encouraging blend of adults and young people, brought together through the committee headed-up by own Cathryn Hodges, Centre Director for Shrewsbury YFC. The youth Worship Band was led by YFC worker Andy Lowe and the prayers presented by a number of young people committed to numerous social action projects planned for key weekends over this year. Let’s pray that God continues to bless this town of Shrewsbury as it seeks to bless and transform a community in the power of God’s Spirit.
